Where learning takes flight! Homeschool with a touch of class.
Greetings and Salutations!
Has public school scrambled your brain? Or is homeschool making you feel like a chicken running around with your head cut off? Either way, you’ve come to the right roost!
Hatcher’s Homeschool is here to help get your homeschool up to scratch and prepare your chicks to spread their wings!
In a world that’s gone goosey, our flock is here to support, educate, and entertain with cracking activity sheets full of fowl facts and feathered fun.
At Hatcher’s Homeschool we aim to raise thinkers, not just cluckers; for what is education, if not the freedom to ruffle a few feathers in pursuit of truth?
No chicken can do it alone, so join Headmistress Margaret Hatcher and the rest of the free-range faculty of Hatcher’s Homeschool as they share their chicken wisdom to help your little chicks take flight.
Learning here is so simple… even a chicken could do it!

Psst… want FREE activity sheets?

Meet the Free-Range Faculty

Margaret Hatcher
HeadmistressAs Headmistress I proudly preside over the illustrious institution known as Hatcher’s Homeschool.
It is my solemn duty to see that every chick under my care is not only well-fed but well-read.
Whether fair or fowl, I shall persevere! For the good of the coop, and the future of the flock.

Professor Peck
Chicken Math & EggonomicsGet into the numbers behind the nest. Prof. Peck encourages students to count everything – even your chickens before they hatch!
With math, every chick gets the skills they need to calculate how to safely cross the road.

Fluffy
Home PeckonomicsFluffy teaches students to care for body and mind. For how can one be expected to retain knowledge without a balanced meal and a good dust bath? Fluffy takes a well balanced approach to learning.

Spot
Pecknology & Cooputer SciencesA true tech chick, Spot is always the first to install a new feeder system or troubleshoot the heat lamp. Spot shares all the tid-bits and bytes students need to build smarter coops and terrific tractors.
Blacker PhD
BockologyDr. Blacker leads students through the eggxacting science of Bockology, eggsploring henpothosis to crack open the mysteries of life, without doing any actual cracking.
Betty
Fine Arts & FowlosophyBetty challenges students to ask the big questions: Why do we roost? What is truth? And didn’t Diogenes once bring a plucked chicken to Plato to prove a point? Betty is always up for cracking into our creative side.
Peek-a-Boo
HenstoryTake a deep dive into Henstory with Peek-a-Boo to find the answer to the age old question:
What came first the chicken, or the egg?
What you discover, may shock you!
All chickens know standing in the middle of the road is very dangerous, you get knocked down by the traffic from both sides.
