Azure Music – Fall Season Music & Band Class Registration (Deadline: Oct 1)

Azure Music offers band classes & music lessons for homeschool students!

Check out the information below about the classes being offered by Azure Music for the Fall 2025 season.

2025/2026 Season Classes (band/ensemble):

• The 2025/26 season’s music selection theme is: Music of the 70’s!
• Band classes are available to students starting at age 8, up to adults!
• Find out which Band Program is right for you: https://www.azuremusic.ca/band-classes
• 22 classes from October 2025 to March 2026, times vary depending on Band Program.
• In-class clinic days will be held on Jan 20 and 21, 2025. Class times may be altered for instrument groupings.
• These classes take part in the student showcase concert on March 29, 2026 at Festival Place in Sherwood Park.

Feelin’ Groovy/Music for Littles – Stony Plain: 

• Great for students aged 4-7 with no or some music experience. Feelin’ Groovy: Music for Littles is a class designed for students to learn music fundamentals through a variety of ways including; world drumming (in an auditory, high energy, drumming circle style), basic keyboard, reading primary notes and values, singing, group composition and music appreciation.
• Fall Term: 10 classes running Wednesdays from Oct 1 – Dec 16/25, 1:15 – 2:00pm
• Stony Plain – KaRAR Performing Arts

Fun Drum – Sherwood Park: 

• Great for ages 4-9, Fun Drum is a class designed for students wanting to experience music and drumming in an auditory, high energy, drumming circle style. This class incorporates world percussion such as djembes and auxiliary percussion to teach rhythms and songs.
• Fall Term ONLY: 5 classes running Tuesdays from Oct 7 – Nov 4/25, 9:45 – 10:30am
• Sherwood Park – AJ Ottewell Centre
